Magic English Lesson at Connex

This week in English, our learning has been magical as we explored Harry Potter! We have been discovering new vocabulary by finding and discussing definitions of unfamiliar words. The learners have been identifying key information in the text and learning how to sort words into nouns, adjectives and verbs. Learners also enjoyed writing their own character descriptions, creating imaginative spells, and practising writing expanded noun phrases to make their sentences more detailed and interesting.

It has been wonderful to see their creativity and enthusiasm for the story.
