What is Connex?

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Communication and Interaction provision at Connex. We strive that every learner develops the ability to communicate their needs, choices, and feelings effectively through their preferred methods. We follow a Total Communication approach, valuing and promoting all forms of communication.  

Who is Connex for?

Our learners range from Reception to Year 6. We offer placements for part time timetables to support learners alongside their mainstream or specialist school. Each class consists of a class teacher, senior teaching assistants and teaching assistants. Connex is a specialist environment where personalised programmes of support are delivered through small class sizes and via a Total Communication Approach, developing Communication and Interaction skills.

Where is Connex?

Connex is based at Unit 16 Headlands Grove Trading Estate, Headlands Grove, Swindon, SN2 7JQ.
